Ever been. . .

. . . in a hurry to get things done?  All the time?  Well, I was playing around with this image and this quote came to mind.
Rivers know this.  There is no hurry.
We will get there someday. -A.A. Milne

I have been trying to do too many things at once.  I'm a yesterday person as far as trying to get things done and today I realized that it's time to slow down and prioritize. Set time limits. Set limits period.  I'm a huge list taker and I love to be able to put a big red mark through as many things as I can in a day, but it's time to switch gears because it just doesn't seem to be working for me.  I'll eventually get it settled, I just need to realize that I will eventually get there, regardless of whether I hurry or take my time. I need to take a lesson from the tortoise instead of always trying to be the hare.

How about you?  Are you like that?  I bet some of you are. . .I just have a feeling.  LOL

Until tomorrow. . .Happy RACING!!!

  2. So darn cute and I love the saying. I am always multitasking and I find myself having to "shut down" some of the time because I get to much nervous energy going trying to do it all so I just screw it all up. I will be printing the saying out for sure and already sent it to my husband for Monday Morning thoughts!

  3. Cute image!! and it's so true! I was rushing around this fall trying to hurry and get ready to go south to CA for the winter. Trying to do too much in not enough time! Fell and broke my shoulder!! That slowed me down really quickly!! Sometimes you need to be hit between the eyes with a 2 x 4 before you get it!!! So now I am taking things slower - still trying to do too much but at a snail's pace instead of like a whirlwind!!
